one of those gym junky footballers considering yoga?
Im one of those gym junky footballers who wants to consider doing yoga and see if it can benefit me in any ways (mayb even help me with my sports). Yet I dont know if I should added to the fact being in a room full of woman would totally intimidate me (Imma typical nice guy)!
so can anyone give me how their experiences on yoga is like? was it fun? worth it? does you fitness health etc improve?
I do P90X. It's a set of 12 workouts that you do for 90 days and it really REALLY works. Yoga is one of the workouts, Yoga X actually, and some people sell the DVDs individually rather than in the whole package on eBay. I'm 16 and play soccer, have for 10 years. I'm about 5'10", started P90X at 135 50 days into it I'm 140 (trying to put on weight). It used to hurt (seriously) to sit cross-legged. I am to the point where I would call myself flexible, and that's from doing Yoga 1-2 times a week for 7 weeks. Buy the disc and check it out, it's a lot more intense than you would think.
