Is resistance training, pilates and yoga enough to sucessfully lose weight and tone up???…?

I am f/25, I do 3x 30minute sessions of weights & 3x 30minutes of pilates & I do 20 minutes of yoga 6 days a week, I’m also on a weight loss program. In my first week i lost 2kg, of that only 0.4kg of that was fat loss…Does this mean I need to do cardio to burn fat????…Or that I am not consuming enough calories, so my body is burning off muscle instead….Please if anyone knows more about this, it would be greatly appreciated…..

If you do a lot of weight and Pilate’s your building muscle, and remember muscle weighs more than fat so don’t jump to conclusions on your first week in. Instead of looking at a scale try measuring your progress in how you feel and how your clothes fit. If in a month your clothes are a little loser and your energy is up then check out a scale. Pay attention to how your body feels instead of what a scale says. Also if your building a lot of muscle, the muscle it self will burn off fat in your body. Trust me I know, I lost 50 pounds doing strength training alone no cardio. Just make sure your getting the right combination on lean protein and healthy carbs so your muscles get what they need.
